Calendar Subscriptions

How to subscribe to a calendar on a Goalline site:

iCal:

You first need to obtain the iCal URL address from the team schedule by clicking on Subscribe/Download Season Schedule at the bottom of the calendar, then left click on "Right click on this link and select "Copy Link" or "Copy Shortcut,", copy the URL address at the top of the browser address bar, then paste this into your calendar program to subscribe to this schedule.

To subscribe:

1. In iCal, choose Subscribe from the Calendar menu.
2. Type the URL for the website where the schedule is published.
3. Name the Calendar
4. Check the “Refresh” checkbox to have iCal automatically update your copy of the calendar when the league publishes updates (It may ask which option you want regarding how often it updates).
5. Click the Subscribe button.

And you’re done!  iCal adds the schedule to your Calendars list and places a curved arrow next to it. Double-click the name if you’d like to change it, but you can’t make any other changes to a calendar you’re subscribing to.

Google Calendar Subscription:

On your Goalline powered website, select the team you are trying to subscribe to, then select schedule and at the bottom of the calendar select "Subscribe/Download Season Schedule." Next select the link that says "Copy this link into your calendar program to subscribe to this schedule."

Once the page has loaded with the scripting, you will need to copy the URL address (top of browser, address bar) , and then go to your Google Calendar. Once there on left side below the calendar there are to options, one says "My Calendars" and other one says "Other Calendars".

To the right of Other Calendar there is an arrow pointing down in a box, click it and select "Add by URL". Paste the URL into the blank box and select Add Calendar, it may take a few seconds but it will then load the schedule into the calendar.

The instructions are the same when subscribing to a calendar for a league site except you would select the league name for the calendar you want to subscribe to instead of team specific, it does not appear in a calendar format and “Subscribe/Download Season Schedule” says “Download/Subscribe to the entire season schedule for this league.”
